Our Advantage

Impactful Advocacy
Through its grassroots policy process, IFB brings your voice and perspective to legislators, regulators and other officials at the local, state and federal levels of government. IFB’s efforts in Springfield and Washington, D.C., have resulted in significant wins for members, such as expanding nuisance deer permits, defending the state sales tax exemptions for ag inputs and directly connecting members with elected and agency officials.

Trusted Information
You’re reading one of our members’ favorite things about IFB, but the information we provide spans far beyond the pages of FarmWeek and the airwaves of your local RFD Radio Network affiliate. Besides our news platforms, we also equip members with timely, reliable updates on the ag economy, legislation and regulations in other ways, such as Rules for the Road seminars and members-only meetings.
Meaningful Development
Regardless of your career stage, the size of your farm or the location of your community, we have programs to help you develop all those things and more. Check in with your local county Farm Bureau for the latest conferences, trainings and other resources you can access.
